The Society of Indiana Pioneers’ annual Intergenerational Day will be at Coxhall Gardens, a modern, 125-acre park which includes the elegant Centerpiece, twin 90-feet bell towers, a recreation lake, and the Children’s Garden.
Join us for a rain-or-shine day designed to captivate young generations of Pioneers (children and grandchildren of members) but a day that all ages will enjoy and all are welcome. Arrive by 9:30 a.m. and enjoy an interactive day that includes:
- Tour and history of Coxhall Mansion, a home inspired by the Governor’s Palace at Williamsburg, Va., and Williams House.
- Ground Tour of Centerpiece, Campbell Crossing, Bell Tower and Children’s Garden.
- Live raptor program with Mark Booth, an expert in Indiana birds of prey.
- Box lunch included.
This year’s event will be on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Please arrive at 9:30 a.m. and gather at the entrance to the Mansion. The program begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
The price is $30.00 per person. Registration deadline is June 15, 2025. There is a limit of 40 participants, so make your reservation early!
Participants must provide their own transportation to Coxhall Gardens, located at 11677 Towne Road in Carmel.
